The right orientation on Boylston Street

Encouraging news on the Chestnut Hill Shopping Center front: the developer intends to re-orient the buildings to engage Boylston Street.

It’s a project that in certain respects has its back to Boylston Street, and we’re going to turn it into a project that has its back on no one.

It's a shame that NED didn't have the same attitude a block away.

Sean,
Lots of rumors around that NED is leasing 80,000 SF to Wegmans supermarket at Chestnut Hill Square. No Whole Foods or Roche Bros., I guess. If folks thought the traffic was going to be bad with a 40,000 suppermarket, imagine traffic on Rt. 9 and neighborhoods with 80,000 SF Wegmans. I read that new Wegmans Northboro had 25,000 customers just on the first day. Someone should check this out before its too late.
