Talk about your mixed blessings

In the Boston Globe Magazine, Newton's listed as tops for car commuters.

The city is nothing if not diverse. We were also a runner-up for public-transit fans. (And, for kids and schools.)

    That same article listed this as one of Lexington's top attractions:

    "Last year, the 5.5 miles of Minuteman Bikeway in town constituted the first urban trail and the first trail in the Northeast to be inducted into the Rail-Trail Hall of Fame."

    Tell me again why there are people who don't want a rail trail in Newton?
